Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme

At Dragonair we believe it is important to actively participate in enhancing the quality of life in the communities in which we operate. The activities under our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme are the tangible demonstration of our commitment to this.

In addition, as a leading Asian airline with state-of-the-art training facilities, we are active in promoting Hong Kong's aviation industry, and Dragonair's important role in it, through company visits for schools and interested external parties, as well as through participation in appropriate aviation-related events.

Four Focuses of our programme

Through our CSR programme we offer support to various organisations involved in four main areas: arts and culture; education; medical and relief efforts; and the environment.

The Awards

Dragonair Awarded as "Caring Company"
For the seventh consecutive year, Dragonair has been awarded the "Caring Company Logo" by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service in recognition of its commitment to being a good corporate citizen. Dragonair is nominated by the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps, a partner in one of the company's CSR initiatives - the Dragonair Aviation Certificate Programme. The award recognised the achievements of Dragonair's CSR programme, through which the airline offers support to a range of organisations.
