Dragonair Named 'Asian Excellence Brand'
(Hong Kong) Dragonair received its latest honour yesterday when it was named a "2010 Asian Excellence Brand" by popular news and current affairs magazine Yazhou Zhoukan.
The honour was bestowed on the 13 most influential brands from five countries and territories in Asia: Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. Nominees from a range of consumer and business enterprises were selected by Yazhou Zhoukan readers and members of the business elite earlier this year, with 100 influential brands shortlisted. The final 13 most outstanding brands across all five regions were named as Asian Excellence Brands by the magazine.
“We are excited to receive yet another honour after being named ‘Best Regional Airline’ by TTG Asia last week and receiving the ‘World’s Best Regional Airline’ award from Skytrax in May this year,” said Dragonair Chief Executive Officer James Tong.
“Dragonair has developed to become one of the most recognised brands in Hong Kong and the region over the last 25 years, and we are delighted that the readers of Yazhou Zhoukan recognise our commitment to always putting customers first and providing a consistently enjoyable travel experience,” he added.
Mr Tong also paid tribute to the Dragonair team. “Needless to say, the contribution of each and every staff member has helped us in our ongoing commitment to the pursuit of service excellence,” he said.
