Self Check-In Kiosk - Check-In

1. What kind of service does the kiosk offer?

The kiosk currently offers the following:

  1. Check-In service - Select your seat and print out your boarding pass.
  2. Boarding Pass Collection - Print your boarding and lounge passes after you have used our Online Check-In service on dragonair.com

2. Who can use the Self Check-In kiosks?

This service is available to all passengers with valid flight bookings departing from that city.

3. Where are the kiosks located?

They are currently located at:

  • Hong Kong International Airport in Terminal 1 aisle H
  • Beijing Capital International Airport in Terminal 3 aisle C
  • Bengaluru (Bangalore) International Airport, Departure Hall
  • Busan Gimhae International Airport
  • Shanghai Pudong International Airport in Terminal 2 aisle D
  • Taoyuan International Airport Terminal 2 Island 7A

4. How do I check in using the kiosks?

You can now check in on your own by the following steps:

Step 1. Retrieve your booking by:

  • Inserting or swiping your Marco Polo Club or Asia Miles membership card OR,
  • Scanning your passport OR,
  • Inserting your ticket (with magnetic strip)
Step 2. Select your flight
Step 3. Select your preferred seat from an interactive seat map
Step 4. Print your boarding pass

5. What are the earliest and latest times that I can check in and collect my boarding pass?

You can check in between 50 minutes to 48 hours prior to your flight departure.

6. Are the kiosks in service 24 hours a day?

Yes.

7. Can I use the kiosk for all Dragonair flights?

Yes, except for codeshare flights when you need to check in with the respective operating carrier. For more details, please contact our reservations office for check-in arrangements.

8. What languages are available on Self Check-In kiosks?

The service is currently available in English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese.

9. Can I use the kiosk if I have baggage to check in?

Yes, simply check in your baggage at our Self Check-In Bag Drop Counter, or any available counter, after using the kiosk.

10. Where do I get assistance if problems arise while using the kiosk?

Simply present the error slip printed from the kiosk to one of our Customer Services representatives.
