Excess baggage charges will be collected if the items exceed your free checked baggage allowance.

Notes:
- Infant is defined as a passenger under 2 years of age who does not occupy a seat.
- Plus one fully collapsible stroller/pushchair.
- With effect from 1 Oct 2007, maximum weight of ANY SINGLE PIECE of checked baggage is 32kg (70lbs), unless it's one of the following:
- Mobility aids
- Medical equipment
- Sporting equipment
- Musical instruments
- Camera equipment
- Household items
- Diplomatic baggage
Weight Restriction on flights between Hong Kong and Kathmandu
Due to operational requirements, passengers departing from North America (US and Canada) with Kathmandu as their final destination please note that each passenger can only bring on baggage weighing no more than 32kg per piece (Maximum 2 pieces).
For flights between Hong Kong and Kathmandu, the weight limit is 20kg in total per passenger.
As this is an operational restriction, the weight limit is strictly enforced.
