Self-Print Boarding Pass
Dragonair has launched its Self-Print Boarding Pass service - the latest innovation to help simplify the travel experience for our passengers.
Passengers departing from select airports on Cathay Pacific and Dragonair flights, who have already checked in online, can print Boarding Pass online on A4 (Legal) paper in either black and white or colour with their own printer at home, the office or anywhere with access to the internet. Passengers eligible for lounge access will be able to view their invitations on the boarding pass.
Who can print the Boarding Pass
All passengers and their travel companions on Cathay Pacific and Dragonair flights who have checked in online for flights departing from Amsterdam, Auckland, Bahrain, Beijing, Cebu, Dubai, Frankfurt, Fukuoka, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, London, Nagoya, New York, Osaka, Paris, Rome, San Francisco, Sapporo, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo, Toronto and Vancouver, provided that there is no onward connecting flight.Please note that the following passengers can check in online but cannot print their own Boarding Pass:
- Passengers who have purchased tickets with fares applicable for child, senior or infants
- Passengers requesting wheelchair services
- Unaccompanied Minors who require special handling
How to print the Boarding Pass
Passengers can print their Boarding Pass with the "Print Boarding Pass" button on the “Online Check-In Confirmation” page up to 90 minutes before departure.To print the Boarding Pass, passengers will need:
- PC with internet access
- Printer with minimum 300dpi resolution
- Paper of A4 or Legal size
- Pop-up blocker disabled on computer browser.

Shows the flight details, passenger name, flight number, flight date, seat number.
Passengers eligible for lounge access will be able to view the invitation.
Helps passengers know where to go once they arrive at the airport.
Reminds passengers of Immigration and Security regulations, travel document checks,etc. Passengers must read this before they proceed to the airport and gate.
At the Airport
Passengers without check-in baggage:- Can proceed directly through Security and Immigration and to the Gate
- Must present their travel documents at the Boarding Gate Service Desk at least 30 minutes prior to departure.
Passengers with check-in baggage:
- Can drop it at a Self Check-In Bag Drop Counter at least 45 minutes before scheduled departure time.
Important Reminders for Self-Print Boarding Pass holders
- Immigration and Security Regulations require that your name on the boarding pass must match that on your travel document. If there is a discrepancy, please contact the Airport Check-In counter for assistance
- You MUST cancel your check-in online at least 60 minutes before departure if you cannot travel as planned. Failure to do so will require you to contact Dragonair Reservations Office or Travel Agent to reissue your ticket before future travel is allowed. This may result in re-issuance fees and payment of any fare differences as per the ticket conditions
- You must present valid travel documents at the Boarding Gate Service Desk at least 30 minutes before departure.
